Davidoff Escurio combines two Brazilian tobacco varieties: Mata Fina and Cubra. Mata Fina, as a fine-cut tobacco, gives the cigar its sweetness, while Cubra (Cuba of Brazil)—originally the Cuban Criollo tobacco variety grown in Brazil—releases a spicy note. In addition, the fine-to-medium texture of the tobacco ensures an even burn that produces white ash—a hallmark of Brazilian cigars. To round out the experience, we’ve complemented the blend with Dominican San Vicente, Olor, and Piloto tobaccos, all wrapped in a glossy, dark Habano wrapper from Ecuador.
