The brand is named after the town of La Santísima Trinidad (Holy Trinity), which is situated on the southern coast of Cuba and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Trinidad cigars have been produced since 1969, but, like Cohiba, they were initially intended solely as gifts for foreign diplomats. It was not until 1998 that they entered the open market, and even then only in limited quantities.
Flavour profile: a harmonious balance of coconut and coffee, with a complex flavour.
