Liga Privada T52 are exceptional cigars for lovers of full-bodied and complex cigars. A blend of extra-aged tobaccos from seven farms, finished with a special wrapper. The search for this wrapper leaf took over two years, and representatives from Drew Estate visited almost all the major tobacco-growing regions in the world; eventually, whilst on a routine business trip for Connecticut Broadleaf, they came across a farm where the farmer was growing a special variety of wrapper leaf, which he called American Habano. The wrapper leaves from this tobacco are cured using the ‘stalk cut’ method, whereby the plants remain whole during curing; the leaves draw nutrients from the stalks throughout the curing process, which gives the tobacco an exceptionally rich and intense flavour.
Flavour profile: A slightly sweet and earthy cigar with a fruity flavour, featuring notes of coffee, leather, nuts, pepper and chocolate, and an aroma of roasted coffee.
