The cigars are wrapped in an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, a beautiful orange-tinged, tangerine colour. Before lighting, we’re greeted by pleasant notes of chocolate, and when we bring the foot of the cigar to our nose, we detect earthiness with a subtle spiciness. Once lit, the cigar surprises us with a rich aroma, featuring an exotic cedar scent with hints of pepper and citrus. Later, the flavour develops further, with added sweetness, though a slight tingle of pepper still lingers. The flavour is pleasantly creamy and buttery. The burn is smooth, and the smoke is beautifully milky and thick; just try blowing a few smoke rings – it’ll go off without a hitch.
